Passion Led Us Here text on pavement

Eliad Group works co-creatively with leaders, teachers, managers and administrators to enhance their ability to design and hold spaces where humans flourish. Together we help you connect to purpose, develop practices that help you iterate faster and with greater clarity, and unleash your collective potential.

Note from the founders: our roots run deep, and they began in education, where we all have a passion and where Aaron and Eric met. In recent years, even though we’ve spent more and more time working with fast-paced organizations to transform leaders and teams at pivotal periods of their evolution, working in education remains close to our hearts.

We continue to be involved in projects where we can have a major impact. There is a through line in the work that we do with leaders and teams, in that if we can broaden and deepen some of these mindsets and skillsets in younger generations, we can support their flourishing from a much earlier point in their career. This creates impact at scale, personally on top of professional, for those we connect with directly and beyond through everyone they later interact with.

DEVELOPING PROGRAMS, PATHWAYS, AND PROJECTS

Every administrator knows the constant stream of new initiatives—each needing clear goals, stakeholder alignment, defined roles, action plans, and timelines. While extra time or resources are rarely provided, these tasks are added to an already full plate of baseline duties and “other duties as assigned.” Even when the work is exciting, it’s hard to find the time or headspace to launch it effectively. That’s where we come in—as initiative catalysts, we offer the extra brains and hands to help you move things forward, when and how you need it.

We’ve helped institutions all over the world design a wide range of educational programs grounded in what’s real—real problems, real people, real-world relevance, and real skills. Our work spans from 2-year CTE pathways aligned to labor market needs, higher ed and industry partnerships, and student interests, to customized, project-based, entrepreneurial learning experiences beyond conventional school structures. We’ve revamped work-based learning with industry input, fostered educator collaboration, reimagined hiring and training, modernized classrooms, supported funding strategies, and handled program rollout and sustainability planning. In short, we’ve done just about everything it takes to turn bold educational ideas into lasting, student-centered programs.

Beyond programs and pathways, we’ve supported a wide range of strategic and operational efforts—from building early and middle college programs, expanding dual enrollment, and converting schools to STEAM models, to developing strategic plans, building and updating principal pipelines, launching state seal programs, overhauling websites, assessing equitable staffing, managing site consolidations, and navigating shifts between in-person, remote, and hybrid learning.

We support when and where we are needed most—partnering with district and site teams, adapting proven tools, or building new ones to fit the moment. We lead cross-functional collaboration, assess needs, manage timelines and budgets, identify risks and mitigation strategies, navigate stakeholder dynamics, support grant reporting, and build systems for continuous improvement. Whatever you’re working on, we’re here to make it more effective—and a lot more fun.

TRANSFORMING PRACTICE: LEADERS & TEACHERS

Senior leaders of educational organizations are under no less pressure, and in many cases are under more, than typical executives. They are time-poor, fragmented across a broad portfolio of responsibilities, navigating constant changes and shifts out of their control, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, etc. While the work has always been tough, they are now under increasing public scrutiny as well, without generous compensation schemes that help justify their responsibilities and the expectations on them.

With decades of experience supporting thousands of leaders in a multitude of educational and business contexts (public to independent, startup to corporate, small and new to large and legacy, etc.), as well as tens of thousands of frontline educators and employees, Eliad Group brings proven strategies to rapidly drive to the core of what’s slowing progress at the individual and team level. Once domains are prioritized we partner with you to define coaching and professional development journeys tied to clear and measurable outcomes.

One of the most proven approaches for rapid growth, the professional learning community (PLC) or community of practice (CoP), is also one of the easiest opportunities to squander. When poorly designed and implemented, PLCs can result in worse outcomes than doing nothing at all. Fortunately, we are experts in this domain, and have time-tested approaches to iterate and evolve, leveraging the best of what’s already there.

Through high-touch and highly engaging workshops, individual coaching, PLCs, and team development we work with you to transform your most important resource: the people who are responsible for implementing your vision every day.

RESHAPING, TRANSFORMING, OR STARTING SCHOOLS

Eliad Group draws on decades of experience in both business and educational contexts. The approach to defining transformation is tailored to each client partner and project context, with practical frameworks and structures offered as supportive methodologies that directly serve top outcomes and metrics, as opposed to other approaches that prioritize process over pragmatic progress against goals.

For many of our client partners, there is a desire to move from the dominant paradigm of: “Do what I tell you or else” to “What are your goals, and how can I help?” To make this shift from command-and-control to co-creation we need to reevaluate the relationships of teacher to student, student to learning, and school to community. Together, we examine the fundamental beliefs and structures that perpetuate command-and-control learning, reconnect to the values and outcomes we want for ourselves and our communities, and explore practices and structures in alignment with our visions. Leadership, learning principles, educative structures—all are revisited to find the throughline of co-creative, re-humanized learning.

At a minimum leaders and communities will leave with clarity on key leverage points to get the changes they want and the beginnings of a roadmap to get there, if not full support throughout the process. Just as importantly, they will leave with co-creative tools to continue the journey, for as we know, evolution never stops.

Future-Ready Skills

Soft skills, power skills, 21st century skills, etc. are just some of many examples of skillset and mindset frameworks that, while trying to show differentiation, are all essentially describing similar qualities. While these topics and concepts are finally being more intentionally woven into standards, educators and administrators still often see focusing on them in opposition to curricular or content transfer goals, and hope that these will be developed implicitly, potentially with some explicit awareness building and self reflection.

Truly modernizing curriculum and instructional practices to best prepare students for the workforce, however, requires integration of discipline and industry agnostic mindsets and skillsets (including traditional ones around EQ, teamwork, proactive initiative, etc., as well as more recently prominent topics such as computational thinking and AI, digital literacy, civic engagement and service learning, equity, climate, etc.). While some alignment can be helpful, often the most impact comes from encouraging educators to just select a subset of skills and accelerate experimentation with more (and more explicit) experiential and applied curriculum around these skills, which itself requires educator, counselor, and administrator professional development toward how to facilitate the development of key skills in students.

We’ve supported every aspect of these efforts, including initial selection and alignment around a set of skills, designing and implementing a professional development journey for educators, curriculum and pedagogical evolution to further integrate these skills, co-teaching and in-situ instructional coaching and support, direct student facilitation as a training experience, and adapting educator recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to better determine who will best be able to facilitate the development of these key skills in students.
