Monique Brinson is the Founding CEO/Head of Cultivation of EnCompass Four Corners School, Camp, Institute, & Center. A lifelong learner committed to world-class education, she is a graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) with an Ed.M. in Education Leadership.

She has 22 years of experience as an urban and suburban school administrator in Boston, Massachusetts, and in Oakland, Santa Monica, and Pleasant Hill, California, in systems ranging from large school districts to charter, and most recently, a small independent school. Her skill sets include resuscitating schools close to closure, launching schools from scratch, and successfully supporting neuro-diverse students and families to wholeness in various educational ecosystems.

Monique has embraced an intersectional lens as she leads as an athlete and artist, as well as an organic academic and community leader. She is equally passionate about cultivating the heart, head, and hand, learning and leadership for the soul, incorporating Waldorf Education methods.

Monique resides in Alameda, CA, enjoying ‘the island’ with her spouse, 11-year-old son, and Chewbacca, their Yorkshire Terrier. You can regularly catch her on walks at Chochenyo Park and Alameda Beach, or at the U.S.A Kung Fu Studio as she works steadily towards earning a 2nd Degree Black Belt.
